For more than 20 years, the NFL has been out of Los Angeles, but now the L.A. Rams have moved back to the city, which features a huge Latino population. Some loyal fans of L.A.’s original NFL team waited all that time, all those Los Angeles Rams with blue and gold ribbons tied around their hearts, hoping for the return of the Rams. They are finally being rewarded for their patience. They have a team. An NFL team.
Yet, an entire new generation of football fans in Los Angeles moved on. The Dallas Cowboys are the sport’s most popular team among Latinos, especially Mexican fans, and the team has long maintained a strong Hispanic fan base in both the U.S. and Mexico.
