Blackwell ‘stable’ in hospital

Nick Blackwell is reportedly in a “stable” condition in hospital after undergoing a “procedure” following a sparring session earlier this week.
Blackwell was forced to retire from boxing just eight months ago after suffering a bleed on the skull during a stoppage defeat to Chris Eubank Jr.
The 26-year-old former middleweight spent a week in a coma after collapsing in the ring following the 10th round of their British title fight at Wembley Arena on March 26.
