EPL Results Week 13: Saturday’s 2016 Premier League Scores, Top Scorers, Table

Chelsea bounced back from a forgettable start to score an important 2-1 victory over Tottenham on Saturday in the headline match of matchday 13 in the Premier League. The triumph keeps the Blues atop the standings for at least another week.
Elsewhere, reigning champion Leicester needed a stoppage-time goal to secure a draw with Middlesbrough. Manchester City picked up a victory to keep pace in the crowded fight for early control of the table. And Swansea and Crystal Palace played one of the season’s most entertaining games.

Chelsea put together a championship performance to edge Spurs. More specifically, the Blues didn’t play their best match and almost let the game slip away early, but they fought back and found a way a win. That’s how titles are won.
On the flip side, it was an encouraging performance despite the loss for Tottenham. They won the possession battle, created more shots and played an all-around strong match away from home. But in the end, there’s only so much value in moral victories for top clubs.
