The Golden State Warriors announced forward Draymond Green suffered a left ankle contusion in Friday night’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers.

With the exception of Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant, Green is Golden State’s most important player thanks to his ability to defend all five positions, spot up for three-pointers and keep opponents honest in the pick-and-roll.
