Paul George Injury: Updates on Pacers Star’s Back and Return

The Indiana Pacers announced playmaker Paul George will miss Friday night’s game against the Brooklyn Nets while he recovers from a sore back.

According to the Indianapolis Star’s Nate Taylor, Pacers head coach Nate McMillan believed George hurt his back in Wednesday’s loss to the Atlanta Hawks. Taylor added that Glenn Robinson III would move into the starting lineup for Friday night.
George suffered an ankle injury earlier in the season and missed the majority of the 2014-15 campaign with a gruesome leg injury.
