Eibar moved up to seventh in La Liga after beating Real Betis 3-1 at the Estadio Municipal de Ipurua on Friday. Goals from Pedro Leon and Sergi Enrich followed Cristiano Piccini being shown a straight red card in the 17th minute.
Ruben Castro hit back for Betis in the 84th minute, but a stoppage-time header from substitute Kike helped Eibar hang on for three significant points.
The win means Eibar are now level on points with Atletico Madrid, while Betis remain stuck in 13th, just five points above the relegation zone.
