Moyes dismisses Anfield record

Sunderland manager David Moyes has dismissed the fact he has never won at Anfield as a manager ahead of the Black Cats fixture with Liverpool.
In his time as manager of Everton and Manchester United, Moyes visited Anfield some 13 times without victory.
Sunderland have also failed to win at Anfield since 1983, but Moyes was spiky in his reaction when quizzed about his record there.
“It’s always easy to pull out stats isn’t it? For you people to say when we last won but all I can say is that we won last week against Hull City and that was an important thing for us,” said Moyes.
