The Danish pairing of Soren Kjeldsen and Thorbjorn Olesen blazed a trail on Day 2 of the 2016 World World Cup of Golf in Melbourne, Australia, on Friday after carding a score of 12 under par to take a three-stroke lead.

They overtook previous leaders, Spain’s Rafa Cabrera Bello and Jon Rahm, who sit third on eight under, just a single shot behind second-placed China, who are represented by Ashun Wu and Haotong Li.

The Day 2 display from Kjeldsen and Olesen was particularly impressive considering they rounded the Kingston Heath Golf Course for level par on Thursday, picking up all 12 of their shots on the second day of the contest.
