World champion Mark Selby and 2015 world champion Stuart Bingham made light work of their first-round opponents at the UK Championship.
Selby, who won the UK title in 2012, progressed with a comprehensive 6-1 win over fellow Englishman Andy Hicks.
Bingham won a scrappy opening frame but was in fine form thereafter, scoring three half centuries and two tons in a 6-0 win over Poland’s Adam Stefanow .
