Jeremy Scott is to give Melodic Rendezvous entries in the StanJames.com International at Cheltenham and the 32Red Christmas Hurdle at Kempton next month.
Despite his advancing years, the Grade One-winning hurdler found only Scottish Champion Hurdle winner Ch’tibello too strong on his seasonal return at Haydock on Saturday.
Scott said: “Melodic Rendezvous ran a great race at Haydock. All last season he never really got on that wet, sloppy ground which is what he is best on.
