Charlton appoint Robinson

Charlton Athletic have appointed Karl Robinson as their new manager on a two-and-a-half-year contract.
The 36-year-old, who departed MK Dons last month, takes over from Russell Slade, who was sacked by the Sky Bet League One club on November 14.
Robinson will take full control on Monday following Saturday’s home game against Sheffield United, meaning his first match in total charge will be against his old club MK Dons in the FA Cup second-round tie at The Valley on Saturday December 3.
