Tokyo 2020 Leans Back Towards Building New Facilities For Games But Will Cut Costs

Tokyo is unlikely to make major changes to its plans for several 2020 Olympic Games venues, Japanese media report, but it will pare back costs after commissioned reports suggested the sums of money required to deliver on the original bid plans for the event would soar out of control.
Tokyo governor Yuriko Koike ordered a review of burgeoning Olympic costs.
