Festival aim for Peregrine Run

Peter Fahey is eyeing the Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival for Peregrine Run after his Grade Two victory at the track earlier this month.
The King’s Theatre gelding struck in the Neptune Investment Management Hyde Novices’ Hurdle and a return to Prestbury Park in March is the main aim for the six-year-old.
Fahey feels stepping up to three miles will bring the best out in Peregrine Run and a prep race at Warwick in mid-January is a possibility depending on ground conditions at the time.
