Kylemore Lough could head for either a Grade One date at Punchestown or a Grade Three handicap heat at Cheltenham following his excellent run in defeat at Ascot.
The seven-year-old delighted trainer Kerry Lee in finishing a head second to Royal Regatta in the 1965 Chase at the Berkshire venue, on what was his first start since winning a Fairyhouse Grade One back in March.
