Rollins claimed off waivers by Rangers

ARLINGTON — The Rangers have claimed left-handed reliever David Rollins off waivers from the Cubs. The move comes just four days after the Cubs had claimed him off waivers from the Mariners.
Rollins made a combined 31 relief appearances for the Mariners over the past two seasons and was 1-2 with a 7.60 ERA and a 1.86 WHIP. He relies mainly on a fastball clocked at 91-92 miles per hour, and he also has a slider and a changeup.
Rollins spent most of last season at Triple-A Tacoma, where he was 5-0 with a 3.77 ERA and a 0.99 WHIP. Left-handed hitters batted .247 off him, while right-handers hit …
