Arena named US head coach

LA Galaxy head coach Bruce Arena has been appointed as the new boss of the United States national team following the sacking of Jurgen Klinsmann on Monday.
Arena returns for his second spell as head coach of the US, having first led the national side between 1998 and 2006.
The 65-year-old replaces former Germany international Klinsmann, who was sacked by the United States Soccer Federation on Monday after back-to-back defeats to Mexico and Costa Rica in World Cup Qualifying.
