Scudamore buoyed by Temps form

Jockey Tom Scudamore believes Un Temps Pour Tout’s victorious seasonal bow bodes well ahead of his bid for Hennessy Gold Cup glory at Newbury on Saturday.
The seven-year-old cost his current owners, Professor Caroline Tisdall and Bryan Drew, #450,000 at the sales back in 2013 after winning three times in France during his early career.
Un Temps Pour Tout initially found some big-race assignments beyond hi, but after winning the French Champion Hurdle in June 2015, he was sent over fences last term with five runs, highlighted by victory in the Ultima Handicap Chase at the Cheltenham Festival.
Scudamore thinks Un Temps Pour Tout’s purchase price is now “irrelevant” given his racing record and career earnings of nearly £430,000.
He said: “It (Cheltenham) was a great day, he’s a horse with a tremendous amount of ability.
