Pistons Reportedly to Leave Palace of Auburn Hills for Little Caesars Arena

The Detroit Pistons’ days at the Palace of Auburn Hills are reportedly numbered.
According to Ian Thibodeau of the Detroit News, the team will announce plans Tuesday to move to Little Caesars Arena in downtown Detroit by the start of the 2017-18 campaign. Thibodeau cited a source on Monday who “requested anonymity because an official announcement has not taken place.”
Vincent Ellis of the Detroit Free Press confirmed an announcement could come on Tuesday.
Thibodeau noted the Pistons have played at the Palace of Auburn Hills in the Detroit suburb of Auburn Hills, Michigan, since 1988.
