Leganes pull clear with win

Leganes pulled four points clear of La Liga’s relegation zone with a 2-0 victory over Osasuna at the Estadio Butarque.
The club from the Madrid suburbs were ahead after five minutes through Rober Ibanez, and he added a second 12 minutes into the second half to wrap up the win.
The result ended a run of four straight defeats for Leganes, while for Osasuna, playing their first game under new coach Joaquin Caparros, it was a third defeat from four games and they remain third bottom.
Leganes had scored none and conceded nine in their three previous matches but made the ideal start as Ibanez swept them ahead.
