Germany Selects 12 For World S/C Titles On Wave Of Marco Koch’s Global Mark

The German swimming federation (DSV) has selected 12 swimmers, seven women and five men, for the World short-course Championships scheduled for Windsor, Canada, next month.
Performance director Lutz Buschkow and head coach Henning Lambertz selected the German squad on the basis of results at the national s/c championships in Berlin, where Marco Koch set a world mark of 2:00.44 in the 200m breaststroke on the last day of action yesterday.
