Robson-Kanu goal on shortlist

Hal Robson-Kanu’s strike for Wales against Belgium at Euro 2016 has been nominated for the FIFA Puskás Award alongside goals from Lionel Messi and Neymar.
The award, set up to honour Hungary and Real Madrid legend Ferenc Puskás, celebrates the best goals scored throughout the year.
Robson-Kanu’s goal against Belgium was one of the highlights of the tournament in France, with the now-West Brom striker performing a Cruyff turn in the box under pressure from Marouane Fellaini and Thomas Meunier before lashing an effort past Thibaut Courtois.
The goal gave Wales the lead for the first time in the quarter-final against a much-fancied Belgium side as they went on to win 3-1 and set up an historic semi-final date with eventual winners Portugal.
