Garry Monk has bemoaned the “critical moments” that cost Leeds against Newcastle, and felt his side were denied a blatant penalty in the first half.

Dwight Gayle scored twice as Newcastle won 2-0 at Elland Road in the Sky Bet Championship on Sunday, but Monk was left frustrated after the referee failed to point to the spot when Jack Colback appeared to handle a Ronaldo Vieira cross just before half-time with just one goal in the game.
