We are excited to be here for the first time. It is always a dream for every team. Kenya is growing as far as women’s football is concerned and we are here to enjoy the moment. We have prepared sufficiently thanks to the support of the Football Kenya Federation, which gave us equal support as the male teams. This competition will create more opportunities for my players to showcase their talents. I’m very motivated and so are the players.
Ghana being here for the last eight times means they were doing things right and this time round, we (Kenya) also got things right and that is why we are here. In this competition, the best team plays the best. We are excited in a better way and you can never feel intimidated when you qualify for a competition of this nature.
