Ligue 1: PSG go joint-top

Paris Saint-Germain moved joint-top of Ligue 1 after Angel Di Maria and Jese Rodriguez’s first league goals of the season helped them to a 2-0 win over struggling Nantes on Saturday.
Di Maria struck after 13 minutes as PSG extended their unbeaten run in all competitions to nine games.
Jese’s penalty on the stroke of full time was his first goal since joining from Real Madrid and made sure of the win which takes Unai Emery’s side to second, behind Monaco on goal difference.
The victory means PSG remained unbeaten at home in all competitions this season, however their rise to joint-top of the table could be a temporary one. Early pace setters Nice need just a point from their Sunday trip to St Etienne to reclaim top spot on their own.
