Ronaldo hat-trick downs Atleti

Cristiano Ronaldo scored a hat-trick as Real thrashed cross-city rivals Atletico 3-0 in the final ever Madrid derby at the Vicente Calderon.
Ronaldo opened the scoring with a deflected free-kick midway through the first half on Saturday evening before doubling the away side’s advantage from the penalty spot with 20 minutes remaining.
He completed his hat-trick just six minutes later – calmly slotting home from close range to move Real four points clear at the top of the La Liga table.
Real have traditionally started derby matches in slow fashion and, true to form, it was Atleti who had the better of the opening exchanges – Yannick Carrasco firing a dangerous ball across goal just minutes into the match.
