Manchester United vs. Arsenal: Jose Mourinho, Arsene Wenger React to EPL Match

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho thought it was clear his team deserved more from their 1-1 draw against Arsenal during Saturday’s Premier League action, while Arsene Wenger acknowledged his side wasn’t good enough at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils put together a fine outing but ran into a late equaliser from Olivier Giroud, and as expected, Mourinho was disappointed with the result, per United’s official Twitter account:

Juan Mata had given the hosts the lead after 68 minutes, and by then, the Red Devils could have scored several goals already. They had also been denied what appeared to be a clear penalty before half-time, with Antonio Valencia going to the ground after a clash with Nacho Monreal.
The win seemed in the bag with minutes left to play, but Giroud decided otherwise, netting a late equaliser.
The result leaves United in sixth place, and as shared by ESPN FC’s Miguel Delaney, Mourinho took the time to make some excuses for his club’s mediocre start to the season:
