DP World Tour Championship 2016: Saturday Leaderboard Scores and Highlights
- Updated: November 19, 2016
Victor Dubuisson raced to the summit of the 2016 DP World Tour Championship leaderboard on Saturday after carding a third-round score of 64 to go one shot clear of the competition.
A terrific Day 3 outing saw Dubuisson move to 13 under par overall, but the competition remained close heading into the final day of the tournament at Jumeirah Golf Estates in Dubai.
Rory McIlroy’s recovery continued with his second successive score of 68 following a nightmarish 75 on Day 1, but the Northern Irishman remained on five under overall and is in need of some stellar fortune falling his way on Sunday.
Sergio Garcia came into Saturday as the competition’s joint-leader, but a sluggish 74 saw the Spaniard plummet to joint-13th in the standings, and his title chances are also fleeting in Dubai.
Read on for a roundup of Saturday’s scores and where they leave the 2016 DP World Tour Championship leaderboard heading into the last day of the tournament.
