Tottenham Transfer News: Latest on Harry Kane Amid Contract Dispute Rumours
- Updated: November 19, 2016
Manchester United are reportedly stepping up their efforts to recruit Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane amid rumours the England international could leave White Hart Lane over a wage dispute.
John Cross of the Mirror reported the Red Devils are keen on securing Kane’s services as he seeks a new bumper deal with Spurs, where he’s looking to earn wages “in excess of £100,000 a week.”
United manager Jose Mourinho will have Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s future at Old Trafford in the back of his mind, with the Swede having only signed a one-year deal with the Red Devils upon joining the club this past summer.
Kane earns £60,000 a week with his north London employers, while Hugo Lloris is also said to be searching for a salary hike, although manager Mauricio Pochettino has remained calm on the matter, per Sky Sports News HQ:
