Andre Ward is expected to be the classier technician against Sergey Kovalev in Saturday’s fight on Sky Sports, but what are his chances of victory?
What’s his record like?
A perfect 30-0. Ward is the former unified super-middleweight champion (having held the WBA ‘Super’ and WBO belts), after progressing from a stellar amateur career that yielded an Olympic gold medal in 2004.
Ward’s list of career victims includes Carl Froch, Mikkel Kessler and Paul Smith but, against Kovalev, he will fight at light-heavyweight – a division that he has only resided in for two fights.
