Basigi: I expect something great

Ghana’s Black Queens begins their quest for a maiden continental women’s title in Cameroon on Sunday after the perennial favourites have failed time without number to annex the trophy they have countlessly been expected to win.
The Ghanaians are rated among the favourites based on pedigree, rather than honours but head coach Yusif Basigi is convinced the story could be re-told this time round. The Queens are housed in Group B in holders and archrivals Nigeria, fellow West Africans Mali with debutants Kenya completing the pool.
