Indians to open spring slate Feb. 25 in Goodyear

The Indians will go to work early toward defending their American League pennant, opening their Spring Training schedule on Feb. 25 against the Reds at their shared complex in Goodyear, Ariz.
Indians pitchers and catchers are scheduled to report to camp on Feb. 12, with the full squad reporting on Feb. 16. A week and a half later, they’ll open a 34-game Cactus League schedule that includes 16 home games, all but one of them 1:05 p.m. MST starts. The Tribe will wrap up its preseason with 6:40 p.m. MST exhibitions on March 30 and 31 at Chase Field against the D-backs.
