Manchester United Transfer News: Latest on Paulo Dybala, Moussa Dembele Rumours
- Updated: November 18, 2016
Juventus starlet Paulo Dybala is set to dash the hopes of Manchester United and Chelsea after agreeing to sign a new deal with the Serie A champions.
According to Tuttosport (h/t talkSPORT), the exciting striker will not be arriving in the Premier League, but will instead sign a contract extension with the Old Lady.
Both English giants are described as “long-term admirers” of the attacker, having tried to recruit him during his days at Palermo.
However, the increased interest in Dybala’s talents—with both Real Madrid and Barcelona monitoring the player—has prompted Juve to increase his wages from £2.5 million to £4.25 million per year, per Tuttosport.
Dybala converted 19 goals in 34 Serie A appearances last season, as Juve once again proved they have no equal in the Italian game.
The player was brought in as Carlos Tevez’s long-term replacement, and he has continued to find the goals the Turin team requires after losing a plethora of talent from their squad.
