For two months, you voted. Now, the winners of this year’s Esurance MLB Awards are being unveiled.
The fun happens today, when winners in 19 categories will be announced throughout the day and evening across multiple platforms. Follow along on social media as winners in the first five categories are revealed throughout the afternoon. Then tune in as the winners in 14 categories — including Best Major Leaguer — are revealed live on MLB Network starting at 8 p.m. ET. The Esurance MLB Awards Show, hosted by Brian Kenny and John Smoltz, will be simulcast on MLB.com as well.

The theme of fan interaction connects the first five awards of the day: Best Call, TV/Radio; Best Social Media Personality; Best Player-Fan Interaction; Best Social Media Post; Best Trending Topic. All will be announced on social media throughout the day.
Best Call, TV/Radio: Vin Scully At 11 a.m. ET, legendary Dodgers broadcaster Vin Scully added another award to his ledger. Scully was named the winner in the Best Call, TV/Radio category for his description of Los Angeles’ walk-off division-clinching win in September. Scully’s competition included Charlie Slowes calling Max Scherzer’s 20-strikeout game and Gary Cohen and Ron Darling’s exuberant reaction to Bartolo Colon’s home run.
