Eremenko hit with two-year ban

CSKA Moscow midfielder Roman Eremenko has been handed a two-year suspension by UEFA after testing positive for cocaine.
The Finland international tested positive for a banned substance following a Champions League match with Bayer Leverkusen in September.
Eremenko scored CSKA’s second equaliser in the Group E encounter at the BayArena, which ended in a 2-2 draw.
UEFA initially banned the 29-year-old in October for 30 days for the offence, but that has now been extended, with Eremenko have three days to launch an appeal.
