Howe: No Chelsea request for Ake

Eddie Howe insists Chelsea have not asked to recall Nathan Ake from his Bournemouth loan spell in January.
The Daily Star newspaper reported this week that the Blues were considering pulling defender Ake out of the Vitality Stadium due to lack of playing time.
The 21-year-old, who is a product of Chelsea’s academy, has made only four appearances since joining on a season-long loan in the summer.
Cherries boss Howe said: “We’ve had meetings with Chelsea regarding his progression but there’s been no mention of January or anything like that.
