MarjanJanevski Forward Marjan Janevski (203-F-88) had a very impressive game in the last round for top-ranked Kumanovo, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 5.The 28-year old player was the main contributor (26 points, nine rebounds and five assists) to his team’s victory, helping them to beat Beroe (#3, 3-2) 82-72. The game was between two of the league’s top four teams. It allowed Kumanovo to consolidate first place in the Balkan League. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Kumanovo already had a very good start winning all 4 without losing a single one. In the team’s last game Janevski had a remarkable six three-pointers out of 11 attempts. He has many years of experience at Kumanovo, through which he has constantly improved. Marjan Janevski has solid league stats.
