Southampton vs. Liverpool: Team News, Preview, Live Stream, TV Info
- Updated: November 18, 2016
Premier League leaders Liverpool can extend their advantage at the top of the table if they beat Southampton at St. Mary’s Stadium on Saturday.
The Reds are a single point ahead of Chelsea, who play Middlesbrough on Sunday, but they will also hope third-placed Manchester City and fourth-placed Arsenal slip up on Saturday.
The Gunners will begin the weekend’s matches by facing Manchester United at Old Trafford, a fixture they haven’t won in the league since 2006. Meanwhile, City will also be on their travels when they visit Selhurst Park to take on Crystal Palace.
Of course, other results will mean little if Liverpool can’t beat Southampton. It won’t be easy, even though the Reds have been in free-scoring form. However, the Saints possess their own quality in a deep squad.
