Texans Warn Players Not to Order Room Service in Mexico City During MNF Trip

As the Houston Texans and Oakland Raiders prepare for the NFL’s first game in Mexico City since 2005, Texans players recently received a memo advising them to remain in their hotel rooms and not to order room service food.
Per the Associated Press (via USA Today), which obtained a copy of the memo given by the Texans to their players Wednesday, multiple sections with various bullet points featured notable information to ensure the athletes are safe and secure during their trip:
A section of the memo under the heading “safety” had a bullet point with: “DO NOT leave the hotel.” It was followed by a line advising players to leave all “expensive jewelry at home,” not to bring large sums of money and not to use ATMs.
