Gardenhire among D-backs’ coaching staff hires

The D-backs on Thursday announced several changes to their Major League coaching staff for the 2017 season, including adding former Twins manager and 2010 American League Manager of the Year Award winner Ron Gardenhire to manager Torey Lovullo’s staff.
Gardenhire has been named the club’s bench coach, while Tony Perezchica will be the third-base coach, Mike Fetters will serve as the bullpen coach, and Robby Hammock will be the quality control/catching coach.
