With one week of the NBA regular season already done, teams are getting a feel for their rosters and what changes can be made.

The extension deadline also passed, which means several players who didn’t get said extensions are now slated to become restricted free agents next summer. Some of those players will hit the trade block, with the allure of their expiring contracts attracting teams.

Despite the defending NBA champion Cleveland Cavaliers’ 3-0 start to the season, there’s one major issue with the roster that could end up hurting the team down the line: the squad only has two healthy point guards on the roster, and one of them is a rookie second-round pick (Kay Felder).

Combine that with the fact that the starter, Kyrie Irving, has missed an average of 17 games per season during his career, and there’s a disturbing lack of depth there. The Cavaliers desperately need a third point guard on the team, preferably one with some experience who can slide in as the main backup.
