Belgium – Patrick Hilliman claims Belgian Top Division I weekly honour

PatrickHilliman Experienced Dutch Patrick Hilliman (206-F/C-82) had a great game in the last round for Melsele and that’s him to receive a Eurobasket.com Top Division I Player of the Week award for round 9.The 34-year old power forward had a double-double of 30 points and twenty two rebounds, while his team beat Ekeren (#13, 2-7) 92-83. Melsele is placed at 8th position in Belgian Top Division I. Melsele is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 3-5 record. It’s Hilliman’s second year at Melsele and it’s hard to imagine this team without him. High Point University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Hilliman is in league’s top in points (2nd best: 18.4ppg) and averages solid 1.3bpg and 61.7% FGP.The second most remarkable performance in last round’s games was 31-year old swingman Mitchel Gorremans (191-F/G-85) of Soba.
