D.J. Cooper American Point guard D.J. Cooper (183-PG-90) had an amazing evening in the last round for second-ranked Pau-Lacq-Orthez, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 6.The 26-year old player got a double-double of 30 points and 14 assists, while his team edged out Orleans (#14, 2-4) 95-91. Pau-Lacq-Orthez is placed at 2nd position in French ProA. They are still close to the very top. Pau-Lacq-Orthez would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 5-1 record. In the team’s last game Cooper had a remarkable five three-pointers out of 11 attempts. He turned to be Pau-Lacq-Orthez’s top player in his first season with the team. Former Ohio University star has very solid stats this year.
