Ukraine – Berozhkin’s 23 points give him Higher League Player of the Week award

OleksiyMomotenko 19-year old center Dmitro Berozhkin (206-C-97) had a great game in the last round for league’s best team Azovmash and receives a Eurobasket.com Higher League Player of the Week award for round 4.He had the game-high 23 points adding five rebounds and two assists for Azovmash in his team’s victory, helping them to outclass Kremen-2 (#5, 1-3) with 30-point margin 88-58. It allowed Azovmash to consolidate first place in the Ukrainian Higher League. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Azovmash already had a very good start winning all 4 without losing a single one. In the team’s last game Berozhkin had a remarkable 81.8% from 2-point range. He turned to be Azovmash’s top player in his first season with the team. Dmitro Berozhkin averages this season 15.8ppg and 7.3rpg. Second best performed player last round was Oleksiy Momotenko (203-F-92) of top-ranked Ternopil-TNEU.
