Anderson, Garcia named to Fall Stars Game

MIAMI — Two of the Marlins’ top prospects will represent the organization in the 2016 Arizona Fall League’s Fall Stars Game presented by Bowman Baseball Cards at Surprise Stadium.
Left-hander Jarlin Garcia and third baseman Brian Anderson, playing for the Mesa Solar Sox, have been selected to the East Division, which will face the West at 8:08 p.m. ET on Saturday.
According to MLBPipeline.com, Garcia and Anderson are the Marlins’ third- and fourth-ranked prospects, respectively. Each Major League squad has at least one representative in the Fall League Stars Game.
