From down 3-1, Cubs working on more history
- Updated: October 31, 2016
With their 3-2 victory over the Indians in Game 5 of the World Series on Sunday night, the Cubs are now one step closer to doing something that just five teams have ever done before: come back from a 3-1 deficit to win it all.
• Game 6: Tuesday, 7:30 p.m. ET air time | 8 p.m. game time on FOX

Since baseball established the 2-3-2 format for the Fall Classic in 1925 — only deviating for two years during World War II — 34 teams have grabbed a 3-1 advantage. They have won 29 of those Series, including each of the past 10.
