2017 NFL Mock Draft: Post-Week 8 Round 1 Predictions for All Prospects

Another week in the books, another loss for the Cleveland Browns, who continue to cling to the No. 1 pick in the 2017 NFL draft.
The competition behind the Browns grew even smaller on Sunday, as the Carolina Panthers picked up their second win of the season, leaving the San Francisco 49ers and Chicago Bears as the only one-win teams in the NFL.
Other than two small groups at the top and bottom of the league, the draft order mostly remains a jumbled mess. Every team from the sixth pick through the 23rd pick has three or four victories.
The 2017 NFL mock draft below features the updated draft order through Sunday’s action, using full-season strength of schedule as the tiebreaker for teams with the same record:
1. Cleveland Browns: Myles Garrett, DE, Texas A&M
The Cleveland Browns need a quarterback, but can they afford to bring one aboard behind one of the worst offensive lines in recent NFL history?
