Arrieta’s turn to help keep Cubs’ Series dream alive

CHICAGO — The Cubs held off elimination with a 3-2 win over the Indians in Game 5 on Sunday night at Wrigley Field to push the World Series back to Cleveland for Tuesday night’s Game 6, in which Jake Arrieta, the 2015 National League Cy Young Award winner, will hope to extend the Cubs’ season.
Cleveland owns a 3-2 Series lead and will send Josh Tomlin to the mound on short rest to try and wrap up the Fall Classic. Arrieta will try to build off his impressive performance in Game 2, in which he carried a no-hitter into the sixth inning in Chicago’s 5-1 victory.
