Nerves lead to $44 ice cream order for Tito

CHICAGO — Even with how long he has been involved in baseball, nerves can still get the best of Indians manager Terry Francona. With his team one win away from a World Series crown, Francona tossed and turned all night long ahead of Sunday’s game against the Cubs at Wrigley Field.

That led to a late-night call to room service.

“At 3:30 in the morning, I ordered $44 worth of ice cream,” Francona said.
