Hardik Patel seven-for demolishes UP

Hardik Patel picked up seven wickets for Gujarat on day four as they beat Uttar Pradesh by 132 runs in Delhi. Chasing 308, UP went from 144 for 4 to 175 all out in the space of 19 overs as Hardik achieved his best first-class figures of 7 for 72 and 11 for 143 for the match. Before their collapse, Tanmay Srivastava and Umang Sharma made 37 and 36 respectively.
Gujarat started the day 186 for 5, with a lead of 292, and lost their last five wickets while adding only 15 runs, as Kuldeep Yadav picked up three wickets in three overs to finish with figures of 6 for 79.
Ashok Dinda collected all five wickets on day four as Bengal beat Railways by 43 runs in Dharamsala. Resuming on 196 for five, Railways required a further 119 runs, but Dinda’s fast bowling skittled out the lower order as they were bowled out for 271.
