Lithuania – Urbonas’ double-double lands him NKL Player of the Week award

AurimasUrbonas 23-year old forward Aurimas Urbonas (198-F-93) put on an amazing game in the last round for Palanga and receives a Eurobasket.com NKL Player of the Week award for round 7.He got a double-double of 21 points and 12 assists, while his team crushed Delikatesas (3-5) with 17-point margin 86-69. Thanks to this victory Palanga moved-up to the 8th position in Lithuania NKL. Palanga is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 3-5 record. It’s Urbonas’ second year at Palanga and it’s hard to imagine this team without him. Aurimas Urbonas averages this season 9.9ppg, 5.4rpg and 4.5apg. Second best performed player last round was Mindaugas Reminas (187-G-86). He is a guard in his 2nd season at Palanga. In the last game Reminas recorded impressive 33 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists.
